HONEYBOCK COFFEE

Brewed with finest honey from the brasilian coffee blossom

Finally there is a new unique version of the Hofstettner Honeybock. This time a dark mahogany bock beer with honey from the coffee blossom. This honey is harvested by bees in Brazil, which by their actions make an important contribution to the global coffee production. In seas of white flowers they collect their honey, which itself has a beautiful dark brown color.

A new recipe for our honey bock was created and for the first time it is dark and slightly more malty than usual. The idea was to reduce the hops to give the sweet aromas their freedom so they can embrace even more. Imported by an Italian colleague of Peter Frühwirth, the honey was added to the new beer and stored for months. The result is a bock beer with 7.5% Vol of alcohol.

With a discreetly herb coffee aroma, the honey brings a fine sweetness to the beer, which complements the roasted aroma of the malt wonderfully. Rounded off in the glass by a fine foam crown and a mocha brown shimmer, this honey bock surprises the consumer.
